Cumberland's Brayden Casolari worked against Cawood's Gage Peck on Saturday in the seventh- and eighth-grade county tournament.

The top four seeds advanced with little trouble in the seventh- and eighth-grade county tournament Saturday at James A. Cawood Elementary School.
Top-seeded Rosspoint coasted past Wallins 45-25 as Jacob Schwenke led the Wildcats with 11 points.
Aaron Johnson paced the Purple Devils with seven points.
Aidan Reynolds poured in 20 and Ashton Sizemore added 16 as Evarts downed Black Mountain 43-22.
Reggie Cottrell led Black Mountain with 12 points.
Brennan Blevins scored 13 as James A. Cawood downed Green Hills 33-8
Cawood, seeded second, downed Cumberland 36-17. Brady Smith led the Comets with 13 points.
Kayden Adams led Cumberland with nine points.
Rosspoint will play Evarts at 5:30 and James A. Cawood will take on Cawood at 7 in semifinal action Tuesday at JACES. The championship and consolation games will be played Thursday at Harlan County High School.
