Harlan County’s Hannah Foster placed second in the state wrestling meet.

Harlan County senior Hannah Foster capped her high school wrestling career with n a state runner-up finish in the 114-pound division of the KYWCA Girls’ Wrestling State Tournament.
Foster turned in a stellar season for Harlan County, winning the Centre Parkway Classic, the Apollo Lady Eagles Invitational and the Harrison County Invitational.
“After a controversial 7-5 decision loss in the state finals, the No. 1 ranked 1 Foster finished with a record of 28-1 (28 pins),” Harlan County coach Blake Johnson said. “She is an incredibly driven young lady and a model student-athlete. Not only successful as a wrestler, but has fantastic grades, attendance and is a wonderful role model to her peers.”
