Harlan County swept Letcher Central in tennis action Tuesday in Whitesburg, winning 7-2 in the boys match and 5-4 in the girls match.
“Coming off spring break and no matches last week to get a win was a great way to start the second hand of the season for our squads,” Harlan County coach Caleb Bailey said. “The boys played some really good tennis tonight. The girls were down a few players tonight and still held on strong to get the win in a hard fought match at Letcher Central. It was a great experience for our players, and I’m glad to get the wins for both teams.”
