Harlan County won a pair of matches this week, defeating Harlan 9-0 in girls and 5-1 in boys on Monday and then downing Middlesboro 9-0 in girls and 6-3 in boys on Tuesday.
“Good results the past two nights for our squads bringing in some wins. We are playing really well, and tonight was a hard fought win for the boys against Middlesboro. We pulled out doubles to take the win. Overall, I’m proud of what I am seeing from our team,” Harlan County coach Caleb Bailey said. “Our girls from top to bottom the past two nights were tremendous. It’s great to see the bounce back from the loss to North Laurel. Both teams have some simple mistakes we have to work through and correct but I am happy with the results. Any time you win on the road in the 13th Region is a great win.”
