Harlan County senior Karsten Dixon came through when the Black Bears needed him most Tuesday, giving up only one hit over 2 1/3 innings as HCHS edged Harlan 9-8 in a 12-inning marathon. Dixon pitched a complete game on Thursday as the Black Bears extended their win streak to six with an 11-3 victory over Leslie County. With two wins in a three-day span, Dixon was this week’s choice as the Kellie Wilson Law Office Player of the Week.
