Daniels tosses shutout as Harlan Stars advance to semifinals

Khloe Daniels tossed a shutout and allowed only two hits with four strikeouts and no walks as the Harlan All Stars blanked Tri City 16-0 on Saturday in the first round of the District 4 Tournament (ages 9-10) at Corbin.
Lilly Daniels led the Harlan offense with a triple and two singles. Jerry Phillips had an inside-the-park grand slam. Khloe Daniels and Bella Ford each contributed a double. Campbell Thompson and Zoey Reed added one single each.
Kaylie White led Tri City on offense with a double. Izzy Pendleton added a single.
Izzy Pendleton and Natalie Pendleton shared pitching duties for Tri City.
