Harlan County sophomore Brayden Casolari faced off against 80 of the state’s top high school golfers on Saturday in the Pulaski Invitational and finished in a tie for third with Pikeville’s Cam Roberts as he shot a 76 over 18 holes.
Madison Central’s Warren Thomas placed first and Rockcastle County’s Connor Ford finished second.
Casolari will participate in a tournament on Sunday at the Monticello Country Club before joining his HCHS teammates in conference action next week.

Casolari placed third for the second day in a row as he shot a two-over par 74 on Sunday at the Stewart Gregory Memorial Invitational at the Monticello Country Club.
Woodford County’s Bradford Lacefield was first in the tourney with a one-under par 71, one stroke ahead of Pulaski County’s Luke Ousley.
Over 80 golfers participated in the tournament.
