Clem leads Rosspoint in rout of Lady Skins

Led by 19 points from Reagan Clem, the Rosspoint offense exploded Thursday in a 70-9 rout of Cumberland in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball.

Jaycee Simpson and Jaylee Cochran added 14 and 13 points, respectively.
Ashlynn Williamson led Cumberland with three points.
The Lady Cats won 37-4 in fifth- and sixth-grade action as Taylynn Napier scored nine and Annie Burton added eight.
Rosspoint won 16-0 in a fourth-grade as Zoey Reed scored six for the Lady Cats.

Landa scores 14 as Lady Devils edge Black Mountain

Raegan Landa was one of three Lady Devils in double figures with 14 points as Wallins edged visiting Black Mountain 38-35 on Thursday in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.
Kylee Runions and Kayleigh Templeton added 12 and 10 points, respectively.
Vanessa Griffith led Black Mountain with 12 points.
The Lady Devils held on despite having only five players and finishing the game with four.
Wallins won 27-6 in the fifth- and sixth-grade game as Braylie Wilson scored 12 for the Lady Devils.
