Aubreigh Green and Tanner Simpson were winners for Bell County in the 13th Region Middle School Meet at Lynn Camp on Monday as Green was first in the third-grade division and Simpson won in the sixth-grade division.
Jonah Slusher was the first Bobcat across the line in the 15th position in the middle school race, followed by teammates Doltan Warren in 17th and Andrew Hoskins in 28th.
Keira Good finished 23rd and Evi Jones was 25th in girls middle school action.
In the third grade and under elementary boys and girls races, Logan Good placed fifh for the Cats.
Eli Green finished in the top 10 with a solid eighth-place medal in the boys sixth grade and under race.
“I love watching these kids race every week. They are aggressive and love going to the front. It lifts me up to bring so few runners to a big event like this and come home knowing you had two race winners in only six races,” Bell County coach Michael Simpson said.
