With three Lady Cats in double figures, visiting Bell County coasted to a 71-37 win Tuesday at Clay County.
Senior forward Gracie Jo Wilder scored 22 points to lead the Lady Cats. Kairi Lamb and Lauren McGeorge added 17 and 12 points, respectively.
“We came out a little flat, but I thought once we got going we moved well and did some good things,” Bell County coach David Teague said. “It was good to try to work some stuff offensively and defensively in the half-court setting. We have been discussing some things individually and as a team that we need to improve on and I felt like the girls tried to do those things for the most part.”
Sidney Jones led Clay County with 11 points.
Bell County plays host to Claiborne, Tenn., on Saturday in the Pride of the Mountains Showcase.
