The Pineville Lady Lions continued winning in the girls portion of the tournament, capturing the Chain Rock Classic title with a 74-47 shellacking of Providence Academy.
Nadine Johnson poured in 26 points for the 10-1 Lady Lions. Rachel Howard had 18 points, and Ava Arnett added 16.
Aerin Hicks scored 20 points for Providence.
Arnett and Howard were named to the all-tournament team. Johnson was named tournament MVP.

The Pineville Lady Lions improved to 9-1 on the strength of a 58-43 victory over Harlan County in the Chain Rock Classic.
The Lady Lions were led by their three-headed attack of Ava Arnett (22 points), Rachel Howard (18 points) and Nadine Johnson (15 points).
Harlan County was led by senior guard Ella Karst with 26 points.
Pineville will play Providence Academy to wrap up tournament play Saturday afternoon at 4:15.

The Pineville Lady Lions ran their record to 8-1 with a 58-36 victory over the Claiborne Lady Bulldogs in the opening round of the Chain Rock Classic at Pineville.
The Lady Lions broke open a close first quarter and outscored CHS 18-7 in the second quarter to take control of the game with a 37-20 lead at the half.
Pineville was led by Nadine Johnson’s 20 points. Ava Arnett scored 12, and Rachel Howard added 10.
Claiborne was led by A. Jones’ 14 points.
Pineville will continue tournament play on Friday afternoon against Harlan County at 4:15.
