Harlan County swept a freshman/junior varsity doubleheader last week from visiting Barbourville, rolling to a 54-35 victory in freshman action and winning 50-44 in the junior varsity game.
Landon Brock scored 18 points and Cole Cornett added 14 to lead the 3-3 Bears in the freshman game. Shemar Carr tossed in six points, followed by Gunnar Johnson and Brady Freeman with five each, Bryson Bryant with four and Bo Eldridge with two.
Brennan Blevins poured in 20 points as HCHS improved to 4-3 in junior varsity action. Brock added nine and was followed by Cornett with seven, Carr with six, Bryant with three, Freeman and Kayden Hensley with two each and Johnson with one.
