A 30-point night from junior forward Abby Gilbert and 10 3-pointers were too much for the visiting Harlan County Lady Bears to overcome Friday in McKee.
Senior guard Madison Curry added 23 points for the Lady Generals.
Harlan County was led by senior guard Ella Karst with 36 points. Sophomore guard Cheyenne Rhymer and eighth-grade guard Jaylee Cochran each added 10 points for the Lady Bears.
Jackson County raced to a 19-9 lead, but Harlan County cut the deficit to 22-18 by the end of the period as Karst had a five-point trip with a 3, then a steal and layup.
The Lady Generals hit seven of 14 from the 3-point line in the first half and built a 41-32 lead by the break.
Jackson County led by as many as 23 points in the third quarter as Harlan County coach Anthony Nolan removed his starters with two minutes left. The HC reserves cut the deficit to 61-43 going into the fourth quarter.
HCHS built on that momentum in the final period as Karst and Cochran each hit 3s as the Lady Bears got as close as seven with 2:19 to play.
Harlan County (15-12) plays host to Lynn Camp on Tuesday and North Laurel on Thursday to close the regular season. Jackson County (17-9) closes its regular season schedule Thursday at Great Crossing.
