Junior first baseman Abbi Fields drove in five runs with a homer and single as the Harlan Lady Dragons earned their first win of the season with an 11-1 win over Powell County at Leslie County.
Addison Jackson had three singles for the Lady Dragons. Ella Lisenbee, Annie Hoskins and Rhileigh Estes had two hits each. Ella Farley added one hit four stolen bases.
Mallory McNiel pitched a complete game, giving up two runs on seven hits with six strikeouts and one walk.
Harlan fell 14-10 to Leslie County in the second game.
Jackson doubled twice and had a single to lead the Lady Dragons. Estes, Ava Nunez and Fields added two hits each. Hoskins added one single.
McNiel started in the circle for Harlan, giving up five runs on four hits in the opening inning. Lisenbee allowed nine runs (five earned) on 12 hits with four strikeouts and five walks in six innings.
The 1-4 Lady Dragons play host to Barbourville on Tuesday and Union, Va., on Friday.
