Junior catcher Addison Jackson pounded out four hits, including a pair of doubles, as Harlan coasted to a 12-7 win Monday at Knox Central.
Jordyn Smith added a triple and two singles as part of Harlan’s 19-hit attack. Ella Farley drove in four runs with a triple and single. Ella Lisenbee drove in two runs with two doubles. Gracie Hensley, Ava Nunez and Rhileigh Estes had two singles each. Abbi Fields hit a home run. Amy Roman added a single.
Mallory McNiel earned the win in the circle as she gave up six runs (one earned) on two hits in four innings, with three strikeouts and one walk. Smith recorded a save by allowing one run on two hits in three innings, with three strikeouts and three walks.
The 5-7 Lady Dragons play Middlesboro on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the 13th Region All “A” Classic semifinals at Lincoln Memorial University.
