Both Harlan County and Alexis Adams extended their win streaks to five in a 14-1 win Monday at Barbourville.
Adams struck out 12 and walked four as she pitched a no-hitter and improved her season mark to 12-8.
Junior catcher Jade Burton hit her second home run of the season to lead the Lady Bears’ offense as she drove in five runs by also adding a double and single. Jenna Wilson singled three times and drove in two runs. Aviya Halcomb added a triple and single. Rylie Maggard had a double and single. Madison Blair and Brittleigh Estep each singled twice. Halanah Shepherd and Lesleigh Brown added doubles. Lindsey Skidmore had a single.
Harlan County (12-17) closes its district schedule Tuesday at Harlan.
