Brayden Casolari spent much of last summer proving he’s one of the nation’s top junior golfers. He’s picked up right where he left off this summer as he placed sixth recently in the American Junior Golf Association Tournament in Ashland.
The Harlan County High School junior shot a 73, 69 and 70 during the tournament to record a top 10 finish against players from the United States, Canada and as far away as Hong Kong. The AJGA is the highest level of junior golf competition with tournaments around the nation.
Casolari heads to Clemson, S.C., for the First Tee National Championships this week as one of the 24 selected to participate in the three-day tournament.
