
Hazard-Perry defeated Leslie County 10-5 and Knox County rolled past Middlesboro-Pineville-Bell 15-4 in the semifinals of the District 4 Tournament East (ages 11-12) on Saturday in Barbourville.
Jeffrey Fuson and Donnie Maidon each had hits for MPB. Zach Patterson, Maidon, Zayden Gibson and Tanner Simpson scored runs.
Knox County will play host to Hazard-Perry on Sunday at 6 in the winners bracket finals. Harlan will play Middlesboro-Pineville-Bell at 2 p.m. with Tri-City taking on Leslie County 4 in losers bracket games.

Leslie County defeated Harlan 4-3 in seven innings and Middlesboro-Pineville-Bell rolled to a 16-4 win over Tri City in first-round games Friday.
Seth Johnson, Logan Mills and Nate Thomas had hits for Harlan. Gabriel Helton, Mills, Brantley McArthur and Johnson shared mound duty.
Waylon Maiden led MPB. With two hits and three runs scored. Zayden Gibson also scored three runs and had one hit. Zach Patterson, Jeffery Fuson and Brody Sanders added one hit each.
Waylon Maidon, Zayden Gibson, Donnie Maidon and Jeffery Fuson shared mound duty.
Nate Harrell led Tri City with a double and two RBI. Brycen Saylor and Collin Sherman each had a single and RBI. Tobey Lunsford had a double. Mike Foutch, Bradley McQueen and Robby Johnson added singles.
