Bell County rolled to three straight victories to open the season, downing Jellico, Tenn., 3-0 on Monday, Claiborne County, Tenn., 2-0 on Tuesday and then 3-0 on Thursday at Middlesboro.
Kairi Lamb led the Lady Cats against Middlesboro with 19 kills, 11 digs, six service aces, three blocks and one assist. Neveah Allen added 14 assists, four kills, four digs and three aces. Emma Winkler contributed 13 assists, four kills, four digs and one ace. Alexis Brown had six digs, four kills, four aces and two assists.
Winkler recorded 11 assists, 10 digs, three kills and one ace against Claiborne. Lamb had 13 kills, four blocks, three aces and two digs.
Lamb had 20 kills in the opener against Jellico, along with 12 digs, five blocks, one ace and one assist. Winkler added 15 assists, seven digs, nine kills and one ace. Allen added 14 assists, five digs, one kill and one ace.
Bell County suffered its first loss of the season Saturday in the McCreary Central. The Lady Cats defeated Lincoln County 2-0 and Perry Central 2-0 and lost 2-1 to Casey County.
The 5-1 Lady Cats travel to Hancock County, Tenn., on Monday and play at home Tuesday against Corbin.

Middlesboro is off to a 2-1 start with a 3-0 win over Lynn Camp on Monday and a 3-1 victory at Harlan on Tuesday.
