The Harlan Green Dragons earned their first win of the season in seventh- and eighth-grade football action with an 8-6 victory Saturday afternoon over Fairview in the John Brown Bowl at Jenkins High School.
Isaiah Caudill returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown, the Logan Thompson added what turned out to be the winning two-point conversion. Thompson earned most valuable player honors.
The 1-1 Dragons return to action Thursday at home against Jackson County.
