Harlan County sophomore Cole Cornett edged teammate Brayden Casolari and Middlesboro’s Garrison Warren by one stroke each with an even par 36 on Thursday to help the Bears claim a Pine Mountain Golf Conference team title at the Indian Springs course in Barbourville.
Harlan County won the team championship with a 158, 12 strokes ahead of Bell County.
Alex Creech shot a 40, followed by Carson Clark with a 45 and Zayden Casolari with a 50 for HCHS.
Logan Stepp led Bell County with a 39, followed by Austin Goodin with a 40, Gunnar Sams with a 41 and Cooper Miracle with a 50.
Carson Osborne led Harlan with a 58, followed by Caiden Jackson with a 58, Izaiah Lefevers with a 63 and Brody Owens with a 64.
Isaac Harris was next for Middlesboro with a 53.
