One week after winning their first home match of the season against Red Bird, the Harlan Lady Dragons earned their first victory on the road Thursday with a 25-16, 25-15 win at Lynn Camp.
Annie Hoskins led Harlan with 11 kills, three aces, one block and two digs. Kaylee Roark chipped in with three aces, eight kills, one assist and two digs. Kamryn Blanton added 10 assists and seven digs. Gracie Hensley had two aces, two kills and nine assists. Peyshaunce Wynn had one ace, four kills and two digs. Addison Campbell added one ace, one kill, one block and two digs. Carley Jump had one assist and six digs. Kenzie Shepherd added two digs.
The Lady Dragons won 22-20, 21-17 in junior varsity action. Shaedyn Crow had five aces, three kills and one dig. Kinsley Sturgill contributed five aces, one assist and one dig. Daria Lee added three aces, two assists and one dig. Kenzie Shepherd contributed two kills and one assist. Abbi Fields added two kills and a block. Gwen Toll had one ace and one kill. Jordyn Shackleford added one ace.
Harlan returns to action Saturday in the 13th Region All “A” Classic at Red Bird.

Harlan County coasted to a 25-7, 25-14, 25-12 win Thursday at Barbourville.
Kalista Dunn led the Lady Bears with 11 kills, 11 digs and six service aces. Savannah Hill had 26 assists, along with three digs, one kill and one ace. Kylee Hoiska added six digs, eight kills, three aces and two blocks. Ashton Evans had five kills, four digs and one ace. Ashlynn Williamson added seven digs, three aces and three assists. Madilynn Nolan had three aces, two kills, one block and one dig. Karli Shoupe chipped in with two kills. Sophie Day and Alexis Adams added one kill each.
The 7-2 Lady Bears play at Lee, Va., on Monday.
