Cawood and Rosspoint will meet for the third and final time Tuesday at 6:30 in the fifth- and sixth-grade county championship game after convincing semifinal wins Monday at James A. Cawood Elementary School.
Top-seeded Cawood, unbeaten against county competition, rolled to a 36-5 win over Evarts in the opening game. Addy Cochran scored 11 to lead the Lady Comets. Bella Ford and Campbell Thompson added nine and eight points, respectively.
Sadie Clark led Evarts with four points.
Annie Burton poured in 14 points as Rosspoint advanced with a 37-17 win over James A. Cawood.
Addie Creech led the Trojanettes with nine points.
Evarts will meet JACES at 5:30 on Tuesday for third place. Cawood and Rosspoint will play at 7:30 for the championship. Both games will be played at Harlan County High School.
