Doziers honored for work with Harlan County Pee Wee football

Harlan County Pee Wee League coaches honored Phillip and Debbie Dozier for their service to the league over the past 18 years. The Doziers were surprised with a presentation during Youth Night at the Harlan County-South Laurel game on Friday. They were presented an award denoting their service to the girls and boys of Harlan County Schools in the cheer, flag football, pee wee football and junior leagues. The Doziers have donated their time each year to oversee the operations of the league, impacting hundreds of children over the years. As an added treat, Debbie Dozier was asked to lead the players in a dance to “YMCA,” proving to be a crowd favorite.
