quaHarlan County’s seventh-grade basketball team got off to a strong start Saturday in London as the Bears knocked off Scott County and South Laurel.
Carson Sanders scored 16 in a 50-38 win over Scott County. Trey Creech and Hudson Faulkner added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Caysen Farley tossed in 12 points in a 40-31 victory over South Laurel. Easton Engle and Faulkner scored 10 each.
Harlan County returns to action Saturday at North Laurel.
