The HCHS Esports Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Teams have secured a spot in the playoffs for the fall 2024 season. The Troublesome Trucks and Bittergiggle Fan Club have each posted 6-1 marks so far with one week of the regular season left.
The Troublesome Trucks, consisting of Ben Smith, Hunter Lawson and JT Osborne, have claimed wins against Trinity High School, Shelby County and Muhlenberg County.
Bittergiggle Fan Club, consisting of Landon Bailey, Dylan Johnson and Andrew Daniels, have recorded wins against Nelson County, Somerset, Trinity and St. Mary.
“Both teams have practiced above and beyond to get where they are at. I am very proud of them,” HCHS coach Sean Daniels said.
