A 23-9 run in the third quarter proved to be the difference as Somerset Christian overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to rally for a 71-61 win Friday over visiting Harlan.
Junior guard Isaiah Hensley poured in 25 points to lead the 6-1 Cougars, including 11 in the decisive third period. Jack Baker and Elijah Brummett added 14 points each.
The 1-4 Dragons were led by a 24-point performance from freshman guard Izack Saylor, who connected on eight 3-pointers. Kobe Noe added 10 points.
Harlan travels to Knox Central on Monday.

Harlan broke through for its first junior varsity win with a 45-28 victory.
Caden Mefford led the 1-4 Dragons with 10 points. Dalton Halcomb chipped in with nine. Dylan Collins scored eight. Braxton Rowe tossed in six. Eli Noe and Brayden Ellis added five each. Gibson Wilder scored two.
Cottrell led Somerset Christian with 16 points.
