Locked in a 14-14 defensive struggle at halftime of the Cumberland Falls Invitational Tournament finals, the Bell County offense came to life in the second half on the way to a 47-28 win over Little Miami, Ohio, on Monday.
Blake Burnett scored 22 points and Ethan Buell added 14 to lead the Bobcats to their seventh straight victory.
Braxton Ferguson provided a spark as Bell outscored Little Miami 17-7 in the third quarter to take control with six of his nine points. Burnett took over in the fourth quarter with nine of the Bobcats’ 16 points.
Bell County (10-3) travels to Antioch, Tenn., on Friday.

Bell County rolled into the finals of Cumberland Falls Invitational Tournament with two blowout wins.
Ethan Buell poured in 20 points as Bell coasted past Somerset 70-48. Cameron Hall added 17, followed by Jaxon Thomas with 15 and Cayden Huff with 10.
Aedyn Asher led Somerset with 19 points.

Blake Burnett was one of four Bobcats in double figures with 15 points in a 75-43 rout of Richmond Model on Sunday. Buell and Braxton Ferguson each scored 14. Hall added 11.
