HC 7th graders edge Perry squad
The Harlan County seventh-grade team ran its win streak to eight and improved to 13-6 overall with a 32-27 win over the R.W. Combs middle school team on Saturday at HCHS.
Hudson Faulkner led a balanced HC attack with 11 points. Easton Engle and Caysen Farley added seven and six points, respectively.
Mikey Combs scored 13 points and Logan Caudill added 10 for the Mustangs, of Perry County.

Evarts, Stinnett split middle school doubleheader
Evarts split a middle school doubleheader against Stinnett, losing 47-46 in the seventh- and eighth-grade game and winning 43-35 in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Caysen Farley scored 15 to lead Evarts in the seventh- and eighth-grade game. Braxton Anglian and Jacob Moore added 14 and 12 points, respectively.
Rayce Bryant poured in 24 to lead the Wildcats to the win. Aiden Napier added 11 points.
