
After five straight trips to the 13th Region All “A” Classic finals, including four straight titles from 2020 to 2023, the Harlan Green Dragons suffered an early exit this season with a 61-38 loss to Oneida Baptist in the quarterfinals on Saturday at Lynn Camp High School.
Harlan struggled offensively for the second straight game and was limited to single digits in scoring over the final three quarters as Oneida Baptist pulled away in the second half.
Freshman guard Jacob Rogers scored 23 points and senior forward Jason Erhunwunse added 19 to lead the 8-6 Mountaineers.
The 2-13 Dragons were led by six points each from Jaxson Perry, Izack Saylor, Ethan Huff, Kobe Noe and Eli Noe.
Harlan will play at Pineville on Thursday and Prestonsburg on Saturday.
