Down by five points after one quarter and one at halftime, Harlan rallied in the second half to defeat visiting Letcher Central 78-70 on Tuesday.
Freshman guard Peyshaunce Wynn poured in 31 points, and senior forward Kylie Noe added 30 to lead the Lady Dragons.
Senior guard Kara Holcomb scored 22 points, and sophomore guard Molly Caudill added 17 to lead the Lady Cougars.
Caudill scored seven points and Holcomb added six as Letcher grabbed a 21-16 lead after one quarter. Noe scored nine points in the second period as the Lady Dragons cut the deficit.to 37-36 at the break.
Harlan outscored Letcher 28-21 in the third period to take a six-point lead. Wynn scored 15 points and Noe added 11 in the quarter.
Wynn hit eight of eight free throws in the final period to help the Lady Dragons close out the victory.
Harlan (11-11) plays host to Barbourville on Friday.

Letcher Central won 44-37 in junior varsity action as Kaylee Baker and Molly Caudill each scored nine to lead the Lady Cougars. Kennedy Anderson added eight, followed by Allona Tyree with six, Mariah Dixon with five, Bailee Howard with four and Jaci Hogg with three.
Addison Campbell scored 13 and Raegan Goodman added 11 for the 2-4 Lady Dragons. Shelby Doan tossed in seven. Addyson Patton scored four. Talae Manning chipped in with two.
