In a matchup of 13th Region teams led by freshmen, Whitley County pulled away in the second half for an 80-57 win Tuesday over visiting Harlan.
Riley Fuson and Bryson Mahan, both freshmen, led the 19-9 Colonels with 26 and 22 points, respectively. Junior guard Henry Bowling chipped in with 13 points.
Freshman guard Izack Saylor led the 5-23 Dragons with 20 points, Junior guard Dylan Cox added 16 points.
Harlan closes its regular season schedule Friday at home against Knox Central.
