Led by 20 points from senior Kara Holcomb, Letcher Central pulled away in the second half a 71-42 win Tuesday over the visiting Harlan County Lady Bears.
Alli Bailey and Molly Caudill added 15 and 14 points, respectively, for the Lady Cougars, who are ranked third in the 14th Region.
Freshman guard Jaylee Cochran led Harlan County with 17 points.
The 17-11 Lady Cougars close their regular season schedule Friday at Floyd Central. The 8-20 Lady Bears will play Bell County on Monday in the 52nd District Tournament at Harlan.
