Harlan County ran its record to 3-1 in middle school baseball action with a 12-7 win Monday over Bell County.
Jackson Mackowiak earned the win on the mound as he struck out seven over three innings. Andrew Vance and Carter Caldwell each pitched one inning with one strikeout each.
Vance led the Bears’ offense with a triple. Hunter Coker, Logan Mills, Myles Jenkins and Bryson Kelly added singles.
Aiden Smith led Bell at the plate with a double and single. Mason Sziksai and Zander Miracle added one single each.
