After losing two games in pool play, the Harlan Lady Dragons swept through the silver bracket in the Kentucky Middle School Kickoff Classic over the weekend in Campbellsville
Harlan fell 7-4 to Anderson County and 2-1 to Elkhorn before defeated Garrard County 3-2, Nicholas County 4-3 and West Jessamine 7-0 in the finals.
Adelynn Lewis pitched a a four-hitter against Garrard County with seven strikeouts and one walk.
Chrissy Saylor led Harlan on offense with two singles. Lilly Daniels and Lewis had one double each. Taylor Glenn, Daria Lee, Jerry Phillips and Harmonee Mills added one single each.
Lewis pitched a five-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks against Nicholas County.
Glenn led Harlan offensively with two singles. Daniels, Lee, Saylor, Addyson Patton, Phillips and Mills had one single each.
Lewis tossed a one-hitter against West Jessamine with four strikeouts and one walk.
Glenn had two single. Lee and Lewis added doubles. Phillips and Mills had singles.

The Lady Dragons coasted to a 12-0 win Tuesday over Cumberland as Lewis pitched a perfect game with eight strikeouts.
Lee led the Harlan offense with two triples and a single. Glenn had a triple and two singles. Lewis and Chrissy Saylor had two singles each. Patton added a triple. Daniels and Phillips singled once each.
Harlan (5-2) will play host to Barbourville on Friday.
