Harlan County rallied from an early 9-0 deficit against visiting Rockcastle County with a six-run fifth inning before falling 11-7 on Friday.
Senior third baseman Aiden Craig led the HCHS offense with a pair of doubles and two RBI. DeShaun also had two doubles with an RBI. Jesse Gilbert singled twice. Colby Shepherd added one single.
Zayden Casolari started on the mound and gave up eight runs (two earned) on six hits with four walks in four innings. Carson Clark allowed three runs (one earned) on three hits with two walks and one strikeout in two innings. Alex Creech fanned all three batters he faced in the seventh inning.
Harlan County (2-6) returns to action Monday at home against Southwestern.
