Harlan battled back from an early 4-0 deficit to pull even in bottom of the sixth inning before the visiting Lee (Va.) Generals scored a run in the seventh to edge the Dragons 5-4.
Brody Owens led the Dragons on offense with two singles. Baylor Varner, Jake Brewer, Jaxson Perry and Grant Shelton added one single each.
Eli Freyer started on the mound for the Dragons and gave up four run son five hits with two strikeouts and one walk in 2 1/3 innings. Owens suffered the loss despite allowing only one hit and one unearned run in 4 2/3 innings, striking out three and walking one.
Harlan (10-9) will play host to Harlan County on Monday and travel to HC on Tuesday.
