The Harlan County Lady Bears closed out the best regular seasons in school history with a 12-2 record, capped by 9-0 wins over Oneida Baptist and Lynn Cap.
“I’m certainly proud to close the regular season out. This is the best regular season the girls program has ever had,” Harlan County coach Caleb Bailey said. “We had big region wins which allowed us to gain a home match and seed in the girls team tournament. Our boys closed out with some nice individual wins and close their season 7-6. I’m excited to see how our teams perform in the regional tournament.”
The regional tournament will open next week at Harlan County High School.
