Brennan Brock pitched a no-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks as Tri-City stayed alive in the District 4 Tournament (east division, 11-12) with a 10-0 win Sunday over Leslie County in Barbourville
Nathan Harrell led Tri-City at the plate with a double and single for two RBI. Brock also drove in two runs with two singles. Caleb Barrett drove in two runs with a triple. Jonah Estep and Adam McLain each added singles with one RBI. Hutton Sherman and Truett Baldwin added one RBI each.
Tri-City will play Hazard-Perry tonight at 8 with the winner advancing to take on the loser of the Harlan-Knox County game for second place and a berth in the district final four.
