The Harlan County middle school football teams traveled to Bell County on Thursday for a pair of scrimmages. The Bears played to a 14-14 tie in the seventh- and eighth-grade game and won 14-0 in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Trey Creech teamed with Caysen Farley for a pair of touchdowns in seventh- and eighth-grade action, one of 60 yards and another of 30. Hudson Faulkner added a two-point conversion.
Creech also recorded an interception.
Rayce Bryant ran for two touchdowns and Brady White added a two-point conversion in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Harlan County opens its regular season schedule on Aug. 19 at Shelby Valley and travels to Middlesboro on Aug. 23.
