The Harlan Lady Dragons opened their season Monday with a three-set loss to June Buchanan. The visiting Lady Crusaders swept three sets — 25-17. 25-22, 25-23.
Sophomore Peyshaunce Wynn led the Lady Dragons with seven kills, three aces, one block and and 12 digs. Gracie Hensley had two aces, six assists and three digs. Jordyn Shackleford added seven aces.]
Harlan won in three sets in junior varsity action — 21-13, 23-25, 15-12.
The Lady Dragons return to action Tuesday at Oneida Baptist and then Thursday at home against Pineville.
