Shelton leads Green Dragons to win over Pineville
Grant Shelton became the third Green Dragon this season to win first in a tournament as he shot a five-over par 39 Thursday to lead Harlan to a 20-win stroke win over Pineville at the Harlan Country Club. The Green Dragons finished with a score of 164.
Eli Freyer and Caiden Jackson tied for third with a 41. Baylor Varner finished with a 43. Carson Osborne had a 46. Kenton Hensley finished with a 47. Cooper Thomas had a 49 and Beck Bryson had a 50.
Pineville’s Marcus Yates was second with a 40. Donnie Madon was next for the Lions with a 46, followed by Eli Knuckles and Shawn Pursiful with a 49, Zac Brown with a 50 and Riley Monhollen with a 57.
