The Harlan fifth- and sixth-grade football team ran its record to 4-0 with a 34-8 Thursday over Jackson County at Union Commonwealth University.
Judah Shope put the Dragons on the board early with a 25-yard touchdown run followed by a two-point conversion pass from Kolbi Green to Bryson Millis. Rush Luttrell scored on a 25-yard run and Green added a 2-yard TD run later in the opening quarter.
Slone returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter. Parker Farley added the two-point conversion.
Lucas Smith had a fumble recovery in the third quarter.
Green closed the scoring with a 33-yard run in the fourth period.
Luttrell led the Dragons’ ground attack with 94 yards rushing. Green added 57 yards on the ground, followed by Shope with 39 yards, Millis with 22 yards and Jacob Ball with 10 yards.
Waylon Taylor and Millis each had catches.
Harlan won 30-12 over Jackson County in seventh- and eighth-grade football. No statistics on the game were submitted.

Harlan’s Bryson Millis brought down a Leslie County ball carrier in action earlier this season. The Dragons improved to 4-0 with a 34-8 win over Jackson County on Thursday.
