The Harlan Green Dragons were held scoreless for a second straight game to start the 2025 season as they fell 30-0 on Saturday at Morgan County.
The Harlan defense kept the game close early as Morgan held an 8-0 lead at the break before breaking the game open in the third quarter.
Jace Adkins, a senior tackle, recovered a fumble near midfield to set up the Morgan offense. Conner Fleming had a 21-yard run to start the drive, then went in from the 10 with 5:51 left in the third quarter.
The Dragons lost a fumble on the kickoff to put Morgan in position for another quick score on the 25. Keavan Keeton went 24 yards on the nest play to set up a 1-yard TD run by Fleming. Alex Lee’s two-point conversion run pushed the lead to 22-0 with 5:10 left in the third quarter.
Keaton raced 50 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter as he found an opening down the right sideline. Cooper Fleming went in for the two-point conversion to close the scoring with 11:48 to play.
The Dragons picked up a couple of first downs in the fourth quarter as Elijah Caudill teamed with Izack Saylor for a 45-yard gain. Boss Bryson had a 12-yard run on Harlan’s final drive of the night.
Harlan (0-2) will play at Phelps on Friday. Morgan County (2-1) will play host to Fairview on Friday.

Harlan sophomore running back Boss Bryson broke free during a scrimmage in the preseason. The Green Dragons fell to 0-2 on the season with a 30-0 loss Saturday at Morgan County.
