Making her second trip to state All “A” Classic state competition, Harlan freshman Daria Lee continued to move up the ladder of the state’s best players.
Lee finished with a 105 to place 44th out of over 100 golfers competing Saturday at the Arlington Golf Club in Richmond. Lee was the regional champion this season after finishing second as an eighth grader.
“I’m very proud of Daria for representing our program against some great competition at the All “A” Classic Tournament. Daria held her own and showed how she has a bright future ahead,” Harlan coach Will Varner said.
Cumberland County’s Kenzee Wilson won the tournament with 68, three strokes ahead of Madison Glisson, of Ballard Memorial, and Carter Lankford, of Lexington Christian. Glisson won a playoff for second place.
