Lady Bears’ season ends with loss to Corbin in 13th Region semifinals

For the sixth time in school history, the Harlan County Lady Bears’ season ended in the 13th Region Tournament semifinals with a 25-21, 25-14, 25-16 loss to Corbin on Monday at Clay County.
The Lady Bears ended the season at 17-14 and won their second straight 52nd District title and the third in four years.
Corbin will advance to play Whitley County on Tuesday for the 13th Region title in a rematch of last year’s championship game and this year’s 50th District finals.
