Sawyer Thompson poured in 28 points to lead Pineville over visiting Harlan 53-39 on Thursday in season-opening middle school games.
Nate Montanaro scored 15 and Will Shepherd added 10 for the Green Dragons.
Pineville won 39-33 in fifth- and sixth-grade action as Dalton Abner and Deakon Partin led the Lions with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
Pineville won 48-8 in third-and fourth-grade action as Ferguson scored 20 for the Lions.
