Visiting Harlan rallied with a five-run fifth inning to win 9-5 and secure a doubleheader split Saturday at East Ridge. Harlan fell 3-2 in the first game.
Junior outfielder Jaedyn Gist led Harlan with three hits in the nightcap. Dawson Irvin and Noah Lewis each added a double and single. Jared Moore and John Mark Bryson contributed two singles each. Evan Browning and Andrew Roark added one single each.
Lewis earned the win on the mound as he allowed five runs (one earned) on five hits in 4 2/3 innings, with three strikeouts and one walk. Irvin struck out six as he pitched 2 1/3 hitless innings to claim a save.
Andrew Roark led the Dragons at the plate in the opener with three hits in three at bats. Browning and Irvin added triples. Donovan Montanaro and Bryson contributed singles.
Browning pitched a complete game, giving up three unearned runs on six hits with eight strikeouts and four walks.

Down 14-6 after five innings, the Green Dragons rallied with seven runs in the final two innings before falling 15-13 on Thursday at Cumberland Gap, Tenn.
Montanaro led the Dragons with three hits. Irvin added a double and single with three RBI. Browning had a double and two RBI. Gist, Bryson and Jared Moore contributed one single each.
Bryson started on the mound for the Dragons and gave up eight runs (three earned) on five hits with three strikeouts and five walks in 2 2/3 innings. Moore allowed seven runs (two earned) on four hits with two strikeouts and three walks in 3 1/3 innings.
The 2-4 Green Dragons play at Lynn Camp on Tuesday in a first-round game from the 13th Region All “A” Classic.
