Jackson edges Harlan in District 4 pitchers duel

Harlan All-Stars shortstop Aniston Burton fielded a throw on a steal attempt in action from the District 4 Tournament. Jackson County eliminated Harlan with a 1-0 victory.

Harlan’s run in the District 4 Tournament (ages 9-10) ended Wednesday in a 1-0 loss to Jackson County at Corbin.
The game was a pitchers duel as Harlan All-Star Adeline Burgan threw a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts and two walks. The game’s only run scored on a passed ball.
Burgan had the only hit for Harlan with a single. Maddy Fields and Maddie Barrett drew walks.
