Johnson represents Harlan in sub-state tournament

Aiden Johnson

Harlan junior Aiden Johnson became the first Harlan golfer in approximately 20 years to participate in state competition as he shot a 91 on Monday in Winchester.
“Aiden had a tough day today. He had some uncharacteristic struggles off the tee. Even with his ability to recover well and good putting, he added more strokes to his game than usual,” Harlan coach Jeremy Lee said. “However, I am very proud of Aiden and his performance this year. His mental game improved by leaps and bounds. He finished as one of the top players in our conference and region. Not to mention, he is the first HHS Green Dragon golfer to qualify for the KHSAA sub-state tournament in over two decades. I am looking forward to his performance next year.”
